Approach:
I believe healing occurs within our relationships—with ourselves, others, and the systems we navigate. My approach is warm, collaborative, and fundamentally intersectional, incorporating Internal Family Systems, psychodynamic, and cognitive behavioral therapy techniques to support your unique needs.
“Rarely, if ever, are any of us healed in isolation. Healing is an act of communion.”
Who I help:
I work with teens (ages 12+) and adults who are navigating anxiety, life transitions, relationship challenges, identity exploration, and healing from various forms of trauma, including childhood, relational, and racial. I am passionate about centering BIPOC and diaspora communities, while remaining genuinely open to individuals from all backgrounds who are ready to untangle patterns and take a step toward a more fulfilling, empowered future. In a society that often demands so much, finding space to simply be yourself can feel like a radical act, especially amid the weight of external expectations and systemic pressures.
How I help:
As the daughter of Korean immigrants, I draw on my background in sociology to view our work through a systemic lens—understanding that your struggles aren’t just "in your head," but are deeply shaped by culture and the world around us. Healing is a collaborative journey, and you don’t have to face these complexities alone.
Starting from an empathetic, non-judgmental foundation, I honor your whole personhood and trust that you are always the expert on your own lived experience. Together, we will co-create a supportive space where you can face life’s challenges and befriend your inner world with compassion.
What my clients say about working with me:
Clients often share that the safe, affirming environment we build together allows them to cultivate deeper self-compassion, gain clarity, and align their lives more closely with their core values. Ultimately, they report walking away with a greater appreciation of who they truly are and feeling equipped to build more meaningful, authentic relationships—especially with themselves.
Off the clock:
I enjoy spending time outdoors hiking scenic trails, petting neighborhood dogs, traveling, reading, and sharing quality time with my loved ones and community.
Nicole has both telehealth and in-person openings.
