Job Summary

Calm Again Counseling is actively looking to hire a licensed therapist/counselor with a desire to grow with us. We are expanding our practice that provides outpatient video counseling services (and eventually in-person) to individuals in San Francisco and across California.

As a therapist or counselor of our group practice, you will be seeing adult and teen clients dealing with trauma, anxiety, depression, anger management issues, life transitions, and more.

This position must be staffed by an individual who is warm, passionate, and works well with a team. The ideal candidate for this role must be well versed in evidence-based practices and ideally have certifications in one or more of the following: EMDR, DBT, CBT, and/or trauma-informed care.

We primarily offer online therapy, with the option to do some in-person therapy at our Noe Valley location as needed.

Required Education & Experience

  • Master’s or Doctorate’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, or related field

  • Active State of California pre-license or license as an LCSW, LMFT, or LPCC, or Clinical Psychologist

  • Experience as a therapist/counselor

  • Clinical experience with individual therapy for adolescents and adults, familiar with clinical implications of; trauma, anxiety, depression, and addiction

  • Training in EMDR, IFS, Somatic Experiencing (SE), and/or Brainspotting preferred
